Arua Hill SC fans over the weekend engaged in its third Corporate Social Responsibility activity by visiting Maternity Wards in different hospitals within Arua City.

The event that saw a number of fans gather and tour different hospitals mainly mother’s unities within the city was meant to promote the clubs’ values of contributing positively towards the development of communities, strengthen relationships, and foster a sense of pride and unity in the city and region.

Speaking after the activities, fans Representative in the clubs Board Nabosa Irene said, cooperate social responsibilities such as the one undertaken by the club fans helps in contributing to the development of local communities.

“CSR initiatives can contribute to the overall development and well-being of local communities. By addressing social, economic, and environmental issues, fans and the club can work together to make a tangible difference in the lives of community members”, Nabosa Irene said.

Ms. Irene further asserted that fans who engage in such activities always feel a deeper sense of connection with the club which intern helps bring in more fans to support the club.

“You find that fans who actively participate in CSR initiatives will always feel a deeper sense of connection with the club. This involvement strengthens their loyalty, passion, and commitment to the team, fostering a more vibrant and increase the supportive fan base for the club”, Irene Stressed.

She However, urged fans of other clubs, to borrow a leaf from the Leopards fans by supporting their communities with whatever little they can offer because they are always there for the clubs.

“I would also like to urge other club fans to come up with activities that can support communities, let’s give back to the communities in every little way possible because they’re always there for the clubs through every situation therefore CSR helps improve various aspects of society as well as promote a positive brand image of these clubs”, Nabosa Added.

The fans visited Arua Hospital, Oli Hospital, Kuluva hospital among others and distributed items such as Mama Kits, Poza Diapers and Poza T-Shirt.

According to Irene, the next CSR activities will take place on Saturday 13th May in Koboko with a focus on health facilities and they target visitation to Koboko Hospital, Lobule health centre III, Keri health centre III and Ayipe health center III.
